changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

sync not working

Bug description:
After logging in, a message appears, telling that the sync will start
momentarily. But it never starts. Not after a few minutes, even not after days.
After clicking on manage account in about:preferences#sync, an error message
appears, saying "unexpected error".
I tried logging in and out multiple times this last week, but nothing has
happened so far.
