Title:
Sync isn't working, but Firefox doesn't know it

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Shortly after logging into Firefox Sync, things seemed to be going fine, that
is until I closed my browser. (I forgot Firefox won't stay open in the
background)
When I re-opened my browser, the items that still needed to be synchronized,
such as my bookmarks and autofill lists, never synchronized back onto my
install of Firefox creating issues for me because hey, I don't have bookmarks
anymore! I tried to sign out and sign back in, but no dice - Firefox
effectively synced my bookmarks and other items that didn't pull over OUT of my
account.

Off to rebuild my bookmarks list, autofill lists, cookies, and
everything else that didn't pull over...
