Title:
Firefox cannot save files to NTFS partition
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
When trying to save a file onto a NTFS file system I get the
following message:
<FILENAME> could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents
of that folder
I checked the writing rights and they allow writing; also I can save the
exact same file in the exact same place using Konqueror. Moreover, using Dophin
I can create a file in the same directory and modify it (the file).
Saving the same file on a Linux partition works ok.
Info:
-Kubuntu 10.04 up to date
-Firefox: 3.6.16
