that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some
of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently
supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly
upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 334693
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
I have an Inbox and a Sent box (among others) that I search
frequently. When I search the Inbox, I usually search Subject/From,
but when I search the Sent, it is usually To. The problem is that
Thunderbird doesn't remember that for each mailbox. When I change
from Inbox to Sent, I have to change the search criteria again, and
likewise when I change back. It would be nice if that could be
remembered.
If you don't like this, perhaps just making the default search
criteria for Sent to be To/Subject might work nicely too.
