may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if

Bug description:
before i upgraded to 11.10 o.s., i was using ubuntu 10.04, and 10.10,
they worked fast enough to not cause this trouble at all, in firefox 9
the mail servers i use were able to load and run just fine, but in
11.10, and in firefox 10, they give me all kinds of problems, forcing
loads to occur too slowly for mail servers to tolerate, and give timed
out notices. i have had a long time using 10.10, and it was perfect
for me, thank you for makng open source products, i hope this word
about 11.10 problem will help all of us. I have looked, but cannot
find firefox 8 or 9 to go back to. as i cannot afford a cabe broadband
connection, and i use a laptop on lakes for sat photos for fishing
help, i need the 3g modem, and cannot afford to use both. it is all i
can do to keep it online.
