Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated
logs by running only once:

Title:
Using Firefox in Ubuntu for Facebook is extremely laggy
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Clicking on any items in facebook with firefox in ubuntu always
requires one or more extra clicks. The mouse cursor always seems to
display incorrectly, or simply due to lagging. Like rollover on links,
it does not change to 'hand with clicking finger', rollover on text
does not change to a text cursor.
At first, I thought this is probably an issue that Facebook has as
they might ignore the users using Linux since they might be targeting
the majority users who are using Windows and Mac. However, when I use
Chrome in Ubuntu, it is so much faster and does not have the issue I
mention on the firefox.
