Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated
logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1654553
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Firefox 50.1.0 report malware on downloaded epub files!

Bug description:
When downloading .chm/.epub/.pdf files from a given site, FF 50.1.0 reports
that there are malwares in them.
This is *certainly* wrong (no antivirus detects them as problematic(*)) and
seems to be *only* based on *wrong suppositions* on the origin URL...
Such a blocking of downloaded files is erroneous.
Indeed, downloading from supposedly "illegal" sites (is a site that
proposes links to supposedly illegal stuff illegal in itself? Whoi are
you to decide it is illegal?) does not means you get "illegal" files
(how do you know I don't own the rights to get the file), nor that the
(supposedly "illegal") files are *always* infected by malware... Also,
malware target mostly (specific versions of) Windows OS/App, which I
do not use, so I REALLY DON'T CARE of what FF assumes of the risks I'm
taking. Please, do not make any stupid assumptions (like that I'm a
stupid Windows user) and let me do what *I* want on *my* machines!!!
(*) Local clamscan reports no problem on the files... Nor virustotal:
