You made this bug report in 2011 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then. Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once): apport-collect 788559 and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. (French translation for "Send to...") contextual menu item, to launch a new mail message (using thunderbird as the default mail software), the filename appears correctly as attachement, but thunderbird complains it can't find the file. This occurs when there is a space character in the pathname. When the space is in the filename, thunderbird show it as %20 (ie: 'test test.txt' will show as 'test%20test.txt'). When the space is in a directory name, you can't see, because thunderbird show only the filename.
