Indeed, this doesn't sound like a bug.

If you need to resize a partition you can do so with:
  1. sudo apt install gparted
  2. sudo gparted

** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => ubuntu

** Changed in: ubuntu
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  Update manager

Status in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I don't know if it is a bug, probably not.

  Software doesn't get updated automatically because of low disk space.
  I´ve tried to resize the partitioning but I have not managed to do it,
  and I don't know where to find out how it is done.
