Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with screen size in
Thunderbird.
You made this bug report in 2011 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 901008
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

"Manage Identities" button in account settings not visible on netbook

Bug description:
The Manage Identities button falls off the bottom of the screen when
it's 600 pixels tall, even if it's maximized. The way it does this is
exceptionally bad, as there is no scroll bar and the "ok" button gets
clipped on top of it, so there's no indication at all that something
is missing.
