Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.
You made this bug report in 2012 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 913067
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

gmail pop3 problem with large attachements

Bug description:
I use Thunderbird for read my E-Mails. For my GMail account I use POP3
protocol.
When I receive an E-Mail, which has large attachment (attachment size
is 8-10 megabyte or more), Thunderbird download it again and again.
The new E-Mails sometimes download it, sometimes not.
I was attached some screen-shot.
