For me this was fixed long time ago (I think at least in precise). I didn't think of the bug report anymore. Sorry for that.

It is the only Account. My Inbox has 4 Subfolders. I have 2 unread messages in my inbox. When I receive a new mail, a unity notification appears that says that i have 1315 new messages although i have now only 3 unread messages in my inbox. The paradox: When I let the mail unreaded and get another new mail (#4) it reports about 1315 new messages again (not 1316 as expected). I don't know where the number of 1315 comes from. But I think it could be different from case to case. Thunderbird-Version: 7.0.1 (latest version in oneiric at the moment) I hope this report helps.
