Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.
You made this bug report in 2013 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

Hello!
1) I have tested Edubuntu amd64 (f2afe42086ebe4fbca479ac58fe4636c
*raring-dvd-amd64.iso 20130113), on live usb persistent.
2) On Thunderbird Mail, I have created an account "Blog & News Feeds".
3) With the secondary button the mouse, I have selected an message and choise
"Delete message" (view screenshot attached).
4) This message is not delete.
