Title:
New minimal width breaks Gnome Window tiling

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Since Thunderbird 17 (or 16) there is a minimal width from sligthly
more than 800pixels. You can't make it thiner. This is anoying and
  breacks certain OS functionalities.

I for acample use a 1600*1200 Eizo screen as second display. Until TB
17 it was possible to arange thunderbird with the gnome builtin
snap2frame that it woul use half of that screen. This isn't possible
anymore becouse thnderbird wont alow it to be only 800px width.

  Reproduce:
Try to make your thunderbird smaler than 800px.

  Description: Ubuntu 12.10
  Release: 12.10

  thunderbird:
    Installed: 17.0.2+build1-0ubuntu0.12.10.1
    Candidate: 17.0.2+build1-0ubuntu0.12.10.1
