Firefox displays Restore tabs option after Login

Bug description:
Firefox displays Restore tabs option after login i.e. rather than
displaying previous tabs. This occurs even though I have the
Preferences option set accordingly. However, if I close Firefox &
restart it, the tabs are displayed correctly. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04
64 bit desktop fully up to date.
