Title:
Impossible to access an hidden file/dir in firefox 47 "open" dialog -
aka "interface nazis" stroke again!!!
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I'm using the brand new firefox 47 for a few days now.
I've noticed that the (open) dialog boxes have changed. I understood
that's related to a move to full support of gnome(3?).
Unfortunately, it seems that the "interface nazis" stroke again:
there's absolutely no way to access a hidden file/folder (e.g.
~/.pics) from the "open" dialog box, nor to copy-paste a path! Veeeery
annoooooying...
Those are just recurrent regression "bugs" from gnome developers...
Apparently Linus' stroke a few years ago didn't help :{ Who can make
them understand how annoying this is?
I'm talking about this dialog:
