Title:
Cannot type diacritics in Thunderbird (AltGr+t)

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hello,

For the Romanian language (RO), AltGr (Alt-right)+t is a combination
for producing diacritics (t with comma below).

However, this does not work in recent Thunderbird (maybe a
regression). Instead of typing diacritics, the Tools menu is opened.

Versions: stock Thunderbird 24.4.0 in Ubuntu 13.10 (as of March 31st,
  2014)

  Thanks a lot,
  Razvan
