Title:
  Invisible Files in Nautilus

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I am running a batch file that is encoding every video in each
subdirectory, yet the files do not appear in Nautilus after creation.
Nautilus reports that there are x amount of files in the directory,
but only displays the files that were not created from the terminal.
The files are, of course, not hidden. They can be seen from a terminal
using ls, and even browsed if you implicity use the search feature in
Nautilus, but will not display in directories by default.
