Motion jpeg streams flicker

Bug description:
When viewing motion jpeg streams from a web camera controled by
zoneminder the stream flickers (shows the image placeholder between
two images).
I can not pinpoint when this started, but probably within the last
month. Does not happen in other browsers, but happens on multiple
computers using firefox.
