To help us confirm it's the same issue, please run:

  lspci -k

and send us the output.

  Missing letters scattered across the interface

Bug description:
  Today my gnome-shell instance did something extremely strange.
  Suddenly around 2/3 of the letters, randomly scattered, were missing
  from the interface. I've attached a screenshot.
