We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago
and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an
issue? Can the bug report now be closed? If we do not hear from you the
bug report will close itself in approximately 60 days time.

Bug description:
firefox 3.16.18 - starts offline when opening. this seems to have
happened after last update to installed software with synapatic 2
days ago.
things like this happen after updating is appears time and time again.
at least major program i or anyone uses, like firefox in this case,
and evolution-seperate bug reported, have issues.
when i open FF it says offline, next, i put online, and my google
loads up. this is not the default behavior, so im reporting a bug
prolly caused from the updates.
please do not ask me to reinstall firefox, that is not the fix, and should
have been considered and tested prior to setting an update via Synaptic.
even when i open a second browser, it loads but under File Menu - Work
offline is sticking ON.
I checked about:config, and it shows default.
anyfoo, 2 strike in past two days. i wonder what else is going to bug
out.
