I have been using Firefox less often lately, but I have been able to use all FF versions after #40 or perhaps earlier. I am not sure, but some issue(s) may have been memory-related. After I started using the add-on UBlockOrigen, FF started using quite a bit less memory.
[Hmmm... That's funny... I note that at some time, UBlockOrigen disappeared from my toolbar, and I seem to have AddblockPlus again... I'll have to re-install UBO again... Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Each time a new FireFox version comes out, I install it, and then end up un-installing it, as it is unable to finish loading up my windows and tabs. When this happened the first time, with version 29, I had to search the internet to find a version 28 for Ubuntu that I could install. Since then, I just keep it in Downloads, and re-install that one with GDebi when the newest FF again doesn't work... I don't know what the problem is, but something basic changed with version 29, and remained that way ever since.
