Hello Mspanc,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.
You made this bug report in 2007 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu
and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to
this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run
the following (only once):
apport-collect 147179
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.
G

Title:
some toolbar settings are lost during mozilla thunderbird upgrade

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

I use small icons without descriptions in toolbars in Mozilla
Thunderbird. That settings were lost during upgrade to thunderbird 2
(during upgrade to gutsy-beta). When I opened window to change the
settings (right click on toolbar -> customize) i realized that it IS
checked "small icons" and there IS proper option in selection list.
I've checked, and selected the same option again and it's ok now.

I remember that I had this situation once in the past but I don't
  remember the details.
