We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug in 2011 and
there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Chromium since that time.
Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an
issue? Can this bug report now be closed?
If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in
approximately 60 days time.

Can't switch from Chromium with alt-tab
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Frequently when I try to switch to another application from Chromium
with alt-tab, Chromium remains in the foreground, and I have to
minimize it to reach any applications whose windows are covered by
Chromium.
I haven't been able to find any consistent reason why.
I'm using Ubuntu 2D, and have switched the Super and Alt-keys.
