Confirmed with Vino in Ubuntu 18.04.1, cursor still doesn't update - which is a shame because x11vnc has regressed in Ubuntu 18.04 and the server now crashes during window dragging operations (didn't happen in Ubuntu 16.04) so, here we are with two annoying VNC servers to choose from.

The mouse pointer is always displayed as a default arrow. For example, when reaching window borders, no resize-pointer appears, when hovering over text input fields, no text cursor appears, etc. This makes it especially difficult to remotely resize windows.
