  network indicator icon disappears randomly in Ubuntu 18.04

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Randomly, the network indicator icon disappears from the top panel in
  Ubuntu 18.04, as in the attached screenshot, although my wired and
  wireless networks are already connected.
