Title:
  auto save not always updated

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
do bugs reported here somehow make their way to mozilla?

before shutdown (actually a power loss) last night i had not
interacted with firefox for well over an hour, upon startup this
morning two of the tabs do not show the pages i was most recently
  viewing.

so should i conclude that the auto save mechanism is not based on
elapsed time, but rather on a countdown of interactions? or for
another guess, might auto save not work if firefox is iconized (under
twm)? or does autosave work by catching TERM, and thus not get
updated in the case of power loss?
