I thought the whole point of an LTS release is that nothing major breaks? Really disappointing to do an apt-get update and break my laptop :( I have a GeForce 310M and this is the only supported driver. What is the likelihood that the patch from comment #2 will make it into the mainstream patch cycle for 16.04 repositories?
