The `gnome-shell --replace' workaround seems to fix this bug for me. However, this causes a new bug when I lock the laptop. After locking I cannot enter my password and it is as if someone is holding down the enter key and the words 'Authentication Error' flashes up.
I am using a Dell Inspiron 17 and Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. The Gnome version is GNOME Shell 3.28.2. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1725384 Title: On touch screens, the apps icon in the dock does not open when touched Status in Dash to dock: New Status in gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have an Bangho AERO 1104 with touch screen, when I try to open the application drawer from the applications icon in the dock, it does not open. 1)- Ubuntu 17.10 Artful Aardvark 64 bit 2)- gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock_0.7 3)- What should happen is that touching the applications icon in the dock, opens the application drawer. 4)- Instead, what has happened is that absolutely nothing happened To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dash-to-dock/+bug/1725384/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
