Occurs for me in both ubuntu 16.04 and ubuntu 18.04 using vanilla gnome. [ Test case ] - From gnome-control-center, set option to show the dock in the bottom of the screen - Mouse hover the "Show applications" icon - The popup should show [ Regression potential ] Fix has landed upstream and it's already available for g-s users, so I consider this pretty safe.
