When selecting another category and then going back to the first one, the contents of the list view are doubled, all symbols are appended again to the list. This can most easily be seen in a category with only few symbols, like "Flags" (see attached screenshot). A restart of the app resets the list view contents to only a single set. 1) $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS Release: 18.04 2) $ apt-cache policy gnome-characters gnome-characters: Installed: (none) Candidate: 3.28.2-0ubuntu1 Version table: 3.28.2-0ubuntu1 500 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-updates/main amd64 Packages 3.28.0-3 500 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/main amd64 Packages 3) The categories should look the same whenever selected. 4) The categories expand whenever selected again.
