when i start firefox screen dims freezes hard drive is noisy for 5
seconds or so then goes back to normal the fault is then intermitent

firefox freezes when opened screen dims down for a few seconds this
problem only started within the past week or so but is very annoying
while on the internet it happens every time a new page is started i
havent installed anything new apart from the updates from update
manager also the dvd player refuses to play any dvd but it will play
cds and video will play if i download it
