Title:
connection reusage across tabs
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Probably a firefox bug:
When I fire request to an identical resource (the string in the address is
literally identical) the requests are processed synchronoulsy. This is easy to
test on a small server, that incidentially blocks for 5 seconds on a request
before returning the used thread id.
Each request fired one after the other from different tabs will return after
5*n seconds, where n is the ordinal the request was fired.
Assuming 20 parallel tabs firing the same request this would lead to the last
request getting its response after 5s*20=100s...
