Dear all, I would be happy about a little help here. Or at least a workaround.
Can I help, to move this forward?
Regards,
Holger

Title:
switching users under xfce causes permanent 100% xorg cpu usage

Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When I switch users via the whisker menu (dm-tool switch-to-greeter)
and login as the second user, I see permanent heavy cpu usage of xorg.

I have tried the nouveau drivers as well without success.

I am currently using the latest nvidia from ppa, but with the official
nvidia drivers from bionic, I had the problem as well.

Logging out and logging in as another user does of course work.

Meaning: I cannot switch users anymore...

  Regards,
  Holger
