It's now an issue here with both Ubuntu 18.04 and Xubuntu 18.04 although
different amount of text not visible. Thunderbird 52.9.1.

Title:
  Text in add-on "Messaging Menu and Unity Launcher integration" for
  Thunderbird doesn't fit to preferences

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  There is a problem in Thunderbird preferences (Menu > Edit > Preferences).
  On the tab General, preferences doesn't fit in the window by default
  There is too much space at the bottom of the window, some preferences can be 
moved there. I've drawn example of it.
  Could you fix it?
