Title:
system ( KDE running ) "frozen"

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

I have installed Ubuntu via Wubi ( NTFS is hosting filesystem ) , default
installation. Later , have KDE installed too.
Have over 1000 Mb RAM and I found active swap of 200 Mb.
Firefox was loading probably too large page ( GNOME's bugzilla search ).
I noticed , that firefox is consuming all available memory , and entire
system is "frozen".
I was logged on the system via SSH , but that session also stops responding (
but it was not disconnected ).
I suspect , that some default values affecting "no free memory" status was
set wrong ( may be serious problem of Wubi ) in default installation of Ubuntu.
Bug #625367 may be similar to mine.
I will try to reproduce the error , if needed ( my system will freeze , I
think ).
