location bar autocomplete drop down falls behind window

Bug description:
After switching viewports, the autocomplete drop down menu in the location
bar, and the right-click menu, become hidden behind the firefox window.
Alt-Tab will bring it back to the foreground.
This does not occur on Debian wheezy using the same hardware.
