Title:
Printing fails, no error shown
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: cups
I did a fresh install of kubuntu 9.10.
Installed my printer (Minolta PagePro 8L via parallel port) via the kde
printer system settings. It was detected automatically.
Printing any document (including the test page) results in following:
- the system tray printer applet is shown very shortly
- no error message is displayed
- no document appears at the printer
Previous versions of Kubuntu worked with this printer.
