Pop up obscures link bar

Binary package hint: firefox
If the shortcut bar is not full, leaving the area under the location
bar empty, when I drag a URL from the location bar onto the shortcut
bar, sometimes a yellow pop-up obscures the drop area and I can not
drop. Perhaps move the pop-up over the location bar?
