Title:
Firefox can't access mounted Windows partitions

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox can browse mounted Windows partition, but not any other file action.
  1. Can't save files there (error "/Temporary/test.jpg could not be saved,
because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder
properties and try again, or try saving in a different location."). The same
file saves perfectly to /tmp.
  2. "File Upload" dialog doesn't show preview, and no actual upload happens.
(Tested in Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc)

Other software works with /Temporary perfectly well (read, writes, deletes,
etc.)
