Title:
firefox disappeared, without displaying crash reporting window.

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Not much to tell...

I am currently using 28.0, as that is the latest version that I can
use (29/30 each try to start up, open up most of the windows, and then
disappear with the report firefox crash window).

I had been using it for awhile (a couple of hours), been to many tabs,
switched to another (unused so far today) tab, and firefox just
  vanished.

Since I used ubuntu-bug to submit this, all the usual system/OS info
should be already available, but if for some reason it doesn't get
attached, I will add uname -a, etc. in a comment...

It seems to me that in the last few (10 or so?) versions of FF, it has
  become somehow more fragile...
