Title:
GNOME Mines desktop file icon too small
Status in gnome-mines package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in gnome-mines source package in Bionic:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Impact
------
The icon of GNOME Mines in GNOME Shell Overview in Ubuntu 18.04 is blurred.
This is because the icon resolution is too low. See the attached screenshot.
Test Case
---------
Check if /usr/share/icons/hicolor/256x256/apps/gnome-mines.png exists.
Check if the app icon in the GNOME Shell Activities Overview looks
less blurry than in the screenshot.
Regression Potential
--------------------
This is a simple missing icon size from the meson build script. The patch is
backported from gnome-mines 3.30.1. The icon was in our 3.26 builds but the
regression was introduced when the project switched to meson.
