Title:
bookmarks toolbar is blank on launch

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

Upon first opening Firefox, my bookmarks toolbar is blank. When I
open a new window, my bookmarks are visible in the toolbar there.

This is a recent bug. It was not present in the original release of
Ubuntu 10.04, and I estimate it's been present for a few weeks.
Looking at the Firefox release history, I'm thinking the bug was
probably introduced in version 3.6.7 or 3.6.8.

I couldn't find Firefox's recent release history all in one place, so I'll
document it here:
  2010-01-21 3.6.0
  2010-03-22 3.6.2
  2010-04-01 3.6.3
  2010-06-22 3.6.4
  2010-06-26 3.6.6
  2010-07-20 3.6.7
  2010-07-23 3.6.8

3.6.1 and 3.6.5 were never publicly released.
