Thanks for the detail. I'm closing the main bug target since it's fixed
in the current Ubuntu version. We can open a trusty-targetted line if we
plan to SRU there but the bug seems minor and we fixes only major issues
and security problems on trusty at this point.

The version shipped with Ubuntu 14.04.5 supports the Desktop Entry
Specification 1.1, but does not accept Version=1.1. This bug was fixed
upstream[1] between releases 0.22 and 0.23.
