That's weird indeed. It's hard to believe that it's an UI issue, as I haven't seen that and don't see that on Fedora. Could it be related to dconf setting not being stored and the filters being reloaded a second later from dconf? I did see some other reports of settings not being saved, which would support this conspiracy theory. Unfortunately I don't have an Ubuntu devel machine, will try to set up a VM and investigate there, unless anyone has a better idea and can give me some pointers on how to reproduce.
