Tamil fonts not displayed properly in chromium

Bug description:
Tamil fonts are not rendered properly in chromium browser in ubuntu. I first
suspected to be a chromium issue and reported here,

Later found that removing two files (FreeSans.ttf, FreeSerif.ttf) from
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/ solves the problem.

Hence it looks like a ubutu issue.
