Title:
gnome-software does not exit a search

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I (accidentally) started Rhythmbox for the firt time ever at this
laptop. It started, and a pop-up came asking if I wanted to install
additional needed codecs (title line says "Available software for
MPEG-4 ACC decoder", so I guess this was the search argument.

I accepted, and gnome-software opened with a search result for
GSTreamer codecs. I installed two of them, life is good, closed
  (Alt-F4) gnome-software.

Then I decided to install some other package via GS as well. Opened
(again) it, and... I am shown a search result for GStreamer codecs. I
cannot exit this search. (via the "<" at the left of the title line).
I can only close the thing.

End result: gnome-software is now, for all practical purposes,
  unavailable. Hence, the bug.
