The current version of vte2.91 is 0.54.1 which breaks SCOSC/SCORC ANSI
codes for saving the cursor position and returning to it. (Aka. SCP and
RCP)

This is fixed in 0.54.2 as per
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vte/issues/48 . Please update package for
cosmic.
