We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all

and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Thunderbird since that
time.
Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013.
Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a
currently supported version of Ubuntu?

expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thunderbird Global Menu dissapears

Bug description:
Hi, I have installed Ubuntu 11.10 x64 on my desktop.
When running Thunderbird, the globalmenu work just as expected, but
after playing aroung with windows sizes, and opening the contacts
window, the thunderbird windows losses it's global menu, just displays
"Thunderbird email client" ans no window buttons nor menus at all.
That is all the info I can provide now, please ghuide me if you need
more information.
