Hi, I was wondering as to when the fix will be included in Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS?
The fix has been out since July but users of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS haven't received the updated packages with the fix yet. It is still 1.14.1 for gst-plugins-good1.0. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cheese in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1758994 Title: "There was an error playing video from the webcam" Status in cheese package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in gst-plugins-good1.0 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Chesee version: 3.28 Ubuntu version: 18.04 (26.03.18 updated) when i open cheese, cheese shows "There was an error playing video from the webcam" Crashlog: UNPC:~$ cheese (cheese:11112): Gtk-WARNING **: 21:07:11.856: Theme parsing error: cheese.css:7:35: The style property GtkScrollbar:min-slider-length is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore.
